Shipping Supplies
Shipping supplies are pretty much essential in a shipping dock and packing items for shipping.
Shipping supplies include:
Two wheel dolly: This is a simple trolley with a handle and wheels, very useful for moving heavy items in one go and not breaking your back. This is necessary for all house and office moves, and professional companies do use these if you choose to hire them.
Tissue paper: This is really made for packaging delicate items when packing things like ornaments, cutlery, and jewellery. As well as adding protection for such items it also acts as a wrapper so it doesn’t get lost in the box.
Bubble wrap: This is very essential in moving a home or office, it is great for padding out boxes with valuables in them, so it does not rattle about during the travel and smash in to little pieces. There are different sized bubble wrap, small bubbles and big bubbles. The smaller bubbled wrap is made for smaller items, and the bigger for bigger items. Because the smaller bubbles are harder to produce it is more expensive than the larger bubbles. Another form of bubble wrap is the bubble bags, it is good for storing jewellery or small electrical gadgets in them to protect from damage. It is also easily labelled so easy to find.
Electronic scales: This is for measuring the weight of your boxes.
Ruler: Obvious much? Yes, but you may forget! Rulers are used to make sure what you are planning to put in the boxes, will actually fit. It would be quite infuriating trying to push a television in a box an inch to small.
The final shipping supply I am going to mention is stretch wrap. I personally used to have my sandwiches wrapped in a similar thing, but these ones are specially made for shipping. So they are stronger and more dependable than normal stretch wrap. (Also know as shrink-wrap)
The Long Distance Haul
So to summarize, shipping supplies have a great hold on what and how to deliver your goods across the country or over seas. Because when you are shipping items long distances you need to take appropriate precautions. These shipping supplies offer that, they give your items more protection with bubble wrap, tissue paper, and hold your items tighter with stretch wrap. Insuring everything is in check by using scales and rulers, making sure to use two wheelers and not your back. All this will insure your items arrive as good as new including you.
