Packing Paper

For protecting your small valuables in the rough journey ahead, you might want to use packing paper. There are a few varieties you can choose:

Corrugated Cardboard sheets,
Packing Paper,
And Tissue Paper.

Function of Each Type

Corrugated cardboard is the bulldog of the group. It is a heavy-duty packing medium used for flat, simple objects, which need some basic covering. An example of something it would protect is pictures and mirrors. This packaging material comes in a range of sizes, as an example of how much it costs: 75 metres by 750 millimetres will cost approximately $35.

Packing paper is common in a lot of small shops where they wrap up delicate objects. This is good for moving, packing and storage and sending fragile items such as ornaments, crockery, and medals. You can buy packing paper for an inexpensive price, for approximately $7 for 250 sheets, or $10 for 500. The dimensions of the sheets are 750mm length by 500mm width.

Tissue paper is a very thin, lightweight paper, in which you wrap up delicate items such as jewellery, wedding dresses, and silver ware. This is even thinner paper than the packing paper above, and will not tarnish delicate surfaces. You can purchase 500 sheets of tissue paper for approximately $10.
